BUSY SUMMER!! JUNE and JULY post

It's been such a fun summer! Here is a recap of some of the fun things we have been doing!


CAMPING!!

We went camping with my Family back in June. I went on my first solo (meaning I was the only one on the horse) horse ride with one of my Mom and Dad's horse's! I was riding Tex (aka Texas) at first when he was being a pain and wanting to go back to camp. My Dad was on the other horse (Blaze) and he told me to switch horses with him, so we pulled off the side of the dirt road we were on. I got on Blaze. Somehow in the mist of us switching horses the reins got tangled up, so we had them laying on the ground tell we could get them un-tangled. My dad was fixing my stirrups when Blaze was being a pain and not holding still. So my Dad smacked his butt....He took off and we went a galloping, my Dad was yelling at me to stop the horse. In my head, I was like how in the world do I stop this horse...I have NO REINS! luckily though I found the lead rope and got him to stop. I was a little nervous after that, but Blaze was awesome after that incident and we had a beautiful ride.

The pictures are after our ride. I let Taya sit up on the horse with me. She LOVED IT! She was waving at everybody as we took a little ride. My dad says she is all ready to be a rodeo queen.

BEE'S GAME!!

My Bro-in-law Eric had some free tickets for a Bee's game and was nice enough to invite Kenny, Taya and I along. It was such a blast!

My Cute little Taya! She was pretty spoiled at this game. She had some Ice cream, Pretzel, Cotton candy...I think and hope that was all :)!




4th OF JULY




SO back on the 4th of July..I made a cake and told my awesome friend Jen that I would take pictures of it. So here you go Jen--

Alright--so after all the picture's I took of this cake..you would think I would have a piece of cake facing the right direction so the flag wasn't backwards! I am such a DORK sometimes. But hey, you get the point.

Kenny had to work on the 3rd so Taya and I went to my mom's for a swim party and lunch!

The water was soooo cold. So Taya didn't swim much!

24th of July!

For those of you who don't know, Weston has a little celebration for Pioneer day. Grandma and Grandpa Pearce came up to spend the morning with us.

AFTER all the excitement

Taya's 9 month well visit

I took Taya to the doctor yesterday and she is doing great! She weighed 20 lbs 11 oz (which was in the 75%) and was 28 1/2 " long. Before Doctor Eskelson had told us her height he had asked if she liked volleyball (not knowing that I liked it). I said "hopefully why?"He said "Because She is really tall." She is in the 95 % for her height! She now has 4 teeth and is growing fast! She crawls all over the place and stands without holding on to things. She sure makes Kenny and I laugh a lot at all the silly and funny things she does. We sure love her!This was taken on Memorial day. Just enjoying playing outside!

YES, That is a pickle in her mouth. We gave her one one day when we were out to lunch a couple months ago because we thought it would be funny to watch her pull a face. Turns out we got the total opposite of what we were expecting. SHE LOVES THEM.
We had to take it away from her for a minute before this shot. In this picture she is biting down hard on the pickle (plus little Gerber snack, saved for later) so we can't take it away from her again. We ended up having to get Kenny back to work so we took it away and she bawled for a while. Sure taught us a lesson.
